September's Tip, Trick and Trend Report

This month’s tip, trick and trend report is all about that little beat that makes a big difference: MUSIC.  Music can make or break a wedding celebration.  If chosen correctly, the music you select can energize your celebration, enhance the romance and inspire guests to bust a move.

Tip:  Every wedding should have music that compliments the personality of the couple.  Don’t be afraid to steer away from the typical Bach and Mozart recession music if you and your new spouse would rather celebrate down the aisle to Stevie Wonder or The Lumineers.  Just be sure that the  music you choose is consistence throughout the entire wedding, from the Procession all the way to the Recession!

Trick:   The First Dance as Husband and Wife and the Father-Daughter dance are the two most emotional dances during the reception – but they don’t have to be. Trick your guests with a surprise choreographed performance that displays how special your relationship really is.  The looks on their faces will prove to be priceless and will most definitely make for a memorable moment!

Here are some inspirational videos to help you get started:

Trend: With artists like Elvis Presley, Etta James, Elton John and many more, you are guaranteed to find a song that is suitable for your first dance.  But if you’re looking to make a lasting impression on not only your spouse but your guests, opt for a trendy hit and stay away from those overplayed classics.

Seek out artists like Maroon 5, Ed Sheeran and Adele to name a few.  Don’t be afraid to request a song with a faster tempo if your heart desires.  This moment is all about you and your spouse sharing a song that means something to both of you.
