June's Tip, Trick and Trend Report

Tip: Planning a wedding can be a long and overwhelming process from tastings to fittings, floral appointments to the rehearsal dinner and everything in between.  Here are a couple key tips to help you stay on track and relaxed through all the chaos.

Always remember that the real meaning behind all of the stress is marrying your true love, the one you are so excited to spend the rest of your life with. Don’t get too wrapped up in the stress, stay connected with your fiancé.  Set aside time for romantic date nights, a couples massage, or simply leave loves notes for one another throughout the week.

Hit the ground running, literally.  If you are already a fitness fanatic, continue your workout regime; and if you aren’t a fan of fitness, become one.  Exercise has a positive emotional and psychological effect and can help calm nerves and free your mind of worries and anxieties. Exercising can be as simple as going for a walk or run to trying something new with your bridal party by attending a dance class. So, get out there and get your body in motion and clear your mind!

Don’t be afraid to delegate.  Naturally, women tend to take control and want to handle everything themselves.  This can lead to an overwhelming to-do list and not enough time, or patience, to get it all done.  Ask your friends and family to help you with the simple tasks by inviting them over for a party to make place cards or help with the seating chart. That’s what friends and family are for, right?

Williams Timeless Productions is here to help you plan for one of the most memorable days of your life.

Trick:  Colors can evoke emotions and set the mood for a specific event, but how do you know if you are choosing the right colors for your wedding?  Here are four tricks to keep in mind when choosing the perfect palette:

Season:  The time of year can influence the colors choices for your big day. Stick with softer tones for spring, brighter tones for summer, rich and natural tones for fall, and cooler tones for winter.

Spot: Location can play a huge role in determining your color palette for your wedding.  If you are planning an indoor wedding, make sure your vision complements the venue’s carpets, wall décor and lighting.   If you happen to be saying your vows outdoors, earth tones are a great complementing  color scheme to lean towards.

Style: Whether your style is romantic, sophisticated, vibrant or playful your wedding colors should reflect your personality.

Self: Kind of like “style” your colors should represent who you are.  If you and your fiancé have favorite colors, incorporate those into the look of your wedding to make it more personal. Remember it is your day, so choose things that reflect you and your fiancé.

Not matter what your colors may be, Williams Party Rentals has the perfect linen and accessories for you!

Trend:   Beautiful braids and plaits have been a hairstyle trend for years.  It’s no surprise that they are making a lasting impression while walking down the aisle.  A messy single braid, a fish tail twist or an entire halo, braids add a soft romantic look to any wedding hair style.  Whether it is for the bride or bridesmaids, braids are the trendy new way to style hair for the big day.
